Wednesday, 25th of Tammuz, 5774

Wednesday is the first day of Week 43 and the first day of the cycle of Malchut (Kingship), Chesed shebeChesed shebeMalchut, Kindness within Kindness within Kingship. This week also represents the "Shavuot" and "Shivah Yemei Miluim" of the cycle of Yesod (Foundation).

Wednesday is also the ninth day of the fourteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Nun Sofit (the final Nun). The following verse from Chapter 3 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the ninth letter, the Tet:

9. Better off were the victims of the sword than the victims of hunger, for they ooze, pierced by the fruits of the field.

ט. טוֹבִים הָיוּ חַלְלֵי חֶרֶב מֵחַלְלֵי רָעָב שֶׁהֵם יָזֻבוּ מְדֻקָּרִים מִתְּנוּבוֹת שָׂדָי:

Again, this verse can be interpreted positively by applying it to Israel's enemies.
