Wednesday is also the second day of the fourteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Nun Sofit (the final Nun). The following verse from Chapter 3 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the second letter, the Beit:
2. The precious children of Zion, praised with fine gold; how they are regarded as earthen pitchers, the work of a potter's hands!
ב. בְּנֵי צִיּוֹן הַיְקָרִים הַמְסֻלָּאִים בַּפָּז אֵיכָה נֶחְשְׁבוּ לְנִבְלֵי חֶרֶשׂ מַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵי יוֹצֵר:
Obs: Earthen pitchers can have a positive conotation, especially when the "Potter" is Hashem Himself.
