Tuesday, 16th of Av, 5774

Tuesday is the seventh day of Week 45 and the twenty-first day of the cycle of Malchut (Kingship), Malchut shebeTiferet shebeMalchut, Kingship within Balance/Beauty within Kingship.

Tuesday is also the seventh day of the fifteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Peh Sofit (the final Peh). Although this chapter also has 22 verses, it is not openly an acrostic. However, there is a way to rearrange the verses. The following verse (1) from Chapter 5 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the seventh letter, the Zayin:

1. Recall, O Lord, what has befallen us; behold and see our disgrace.

א. זְכֹר יְהֹוָה מֶה הָיָה לָנוּ הַבִּיטָה וּרְאֵה אֶת חֶרְפָּתֵנוּ:

This verse can be interpreted positively as follows:

1. Recall, O Lord, how we reached the state of "what" (nothingness); behold and see our "embarassment" [before You].

Obs: Chapter 5 of Lamentations works as an acrostic if you take the three verses that begin with 'Al, עַל , and apply them as above for the letter Gimmel, Dalet and Samech. Also, for those verses for which the first letter appears in more than one verse, use only one verse and take the second letter of the remaining verses.
