Monday, Tu B'Av (15th of Av), 5774

Monday is the sixth day of Week 45 and the twentieth day of the cycle of Malchut (Kingship), Yesod shebeTiferet shebeMalchut, Foundation within Balance/Beauty within Kingship.

Monday is also the sixth day of the fifteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Peh Sofit (the final Peh). Although this chapter also has 22 verses, it is not openly an acrostic. However, there is a way to rearrange the verses. The following verse (10) from Chapter 5 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the sixth letter, the Vav:

10. Our skin is parched as by a furnace because of the heat of hunger.

י. עוֹרֵנוּ כְּתַנּוּר נִכְמָרוּ מִפְּנֵי זַלְעֲפוֹת רָעָב:

This verse can be interpreted positively as follows:

10. Our skin (physicality) is parched as by a furnace (heated passion for G-d) because of the heat of hunger (yearning for G-d).

Obs: Chapter 5 of Lamentations works as an acrostic if you take the three verses that begin with 'Al, עַל , and apply them as above for the letter Gimmel, Dalet and Samech. Also, for those verses for which the first letter appears in more than one verse, use only one verse and take the second letter of the remaining verses.
