Monday, 29th of Av, 5774

Monday is the sixth day of Week 47 and the thirty-fourth day of the cycle of Malchut (Kingship), Yesod shebeHod shebeMalchut, Foundation within Glory/Acknowledgement within Kingship.

Monday is also the twentieth day of the fifteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Peh Sofit (the final Peh). Although this chapter also has 22 verses, it is not openly an acrostic. However, there is a way to rearrange the verses. The following verse (12) from Chapter 5 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the twentieth letter, the Reish:

12. Princes were hanged by their hands, elders were not shown respect.

יב. שָׂרִים בְּיָדָם נִתְלוּ פְּנֵי זְקֵנִים לֹא נֶהְדָּרוּ:

Obs: Chapter 5 of Lamentations works as an acrostic if you take the three verses that begin with 'Al, עַל , and apply them as above for the letter Gimmel, Dalet and Samech (which is an exception). Furthermore, for the letter Tet, take the first letter of the second word in verse 13. Also, for those verses for which the first letter appears in more than one verse, use only one verse and take the second letter of the remaining verses
