Sefirah and Aleph-Bet Combination for Monday, 4th of Sivan, 5774

Monday is the sixth day of Week 35 and the forty-eighth day of the Omer (the cycle of Hod, Glory/Acknowledgement), Yesod shebeMalchut (shebeHod), Foundation within Kingship (within Glory/Acknowledgement).

Monday is also the second day of the twelfth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Kaf Sofit (the final Kaf). The following verse from Chapter 3 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the second letter, the Beit:

5. He has built up [camps of siege] against me, and encompassed [me with] gall and travail.

ה. בָּנָה עָלַי וַיַּקַּף רֹאשׁ וּתְלָאָה:

This verse can be interpreted positively as follows:

5. He has built upon me, and encompassed gall and travail (protecting me from them).
