Tuesday is also the twenty-second day of the fourteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Nun Sofit (the final Nun). The following verse (22) from Chapter 3 of the Book of Lamentations is connected to the twenty-second letter, the Tav:
22. [The punishment of] your iniquity is complete, O daughter of Zion; He will no longer send you into exile; [but] your iniquity, O daughter of Edom, He shall punish-He will reveal your sins.
כב. תַּם עֲוֹנֵךְ בַּת צִיּוֹן לֹא יוֹסִיף לְהַגְלוֹתֵךְ פָּקַד עֲוֹנֵךְ בַּת אֱדוֹם גִּלָּה עַל חַטֹּאתָיִךְ:
