Thursday is the second day of Week 50, the week of Chochmah (Wisdom). Weeks 50-52 are equivalent to "Shavuot" of this year and Passover of the year that is to come.
Thursday is also the fifteenth day of the sixteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Tzadi Sofit (the final Tzadi). The following segment from Chapter 1 of the Book of Nachum is connected to the fifteenth letter, the Samech:
10. For, while the thorns are entangled and the drunkards are drinking, they are consumed like dry stubble,
י. כִּי עַד סִירִים סְבֻכִים וּכְסָבְאָם סְבוּאִים אֻכְּלוּ כְּקַשׁ יָבֵשׁ
