Friday, 17th of Elul and Shabat, 18th of Elul, 5774

Friday is the third day of Week 50, the week of Chochmah (Wisdom). Weeks 50-52 are equivalent to "Shavuot" of this year and Passover of the year that is to come.

Friday is also the sixteenth day of the sixteenth 22-day cycle of the year, related to the letter Tzadi Sofit (the final Tzadi). The following segment from Chapter 1 of the Book of Nachum is connected to the sixteenth letter, the Ayin:
